Tim Pearson


As Operations Manager, Tim is the heart and hands behind Camp Runoia’s beautiful, safe, and well-maintained campus. With a long history of working with camps throughout the region, he brings both deep experience and genuine passion to his role, living onsite year-round to help ensure every detail of camp operations runs smoothly.

Tim oversees all aspects of facilities, maintenance, infrastructure, food services, operational logistics and Runoia’s Trips Program.

From managing major construction and improvement projects to handling the countless day-to-day needs that arise during the summer, he is constantly working behind the scenes to keep camp running safely, efficiently, and comfortably for campers and staff alike. Safety is always Tim’s top priority, and he plays a key role in overseeing camp-wide operational planning, emergency preparedness, and risk management systems.

In addition to maintaining and improving Runoia’s historic campus, Tim coordinates many of the operational pieces that allow camp to function each day, ensuring that everything from meals and maintenance to transportation, supplies, and trip logistics runs smoothly. He is also deeply involved in supporting and helping lead Runoia’s wilderness and trip programs throughout the summer.

An avid outdoor enthusiast, Tim enjoys hiking, waterskiing, and backcountry skiing, and is actively involved in maintaining and stewarding backcountry ski zones throughout Maine. He is a valued member of Runoia’s leadership team and a familiar, supportive presence around camp, always ready to jump in wherever needed.
