April first joined the Camp Runoia community in 2014 and has become an integral part of the camp’s year-round operations and leadership team. Living onsite during the off-season, April plays a vital role in keeping camp running smoothly behind the scenes and is often one of the friendly, familiar voices families connect with throughout the year.

As Runoia’s Office Administrator, April helps oversee countless operational details that support campers, families, and staff alike. From organizing logistics and communications to supporting enrollment processes and day-to-day camp operations, her attention to detail, reliability, and deep knowledge of camp make her an invaluable resource to the entire community.

In addition to her role at Camp Runoia, April now serves as the Team Lead for the Office Administrators across the broader Canyon Lands Camps Network, helping support and coordinate administrative teams across multiple camps. Her leadership, organization, and collaborative approach have made her a trusted and respected member of the larger Canyonlands community as well.

April shares her camp home year-round with her cat, Noodle, and during the summer, as many campers know, we are all joined by her beloved horse, Phoebe. Her love for animals, commitment to camp life, and caring presence help make Camp Runoia feel like home for so many campers and families.
