Our Leadership program is a bridge program at Runoia. The Counselor in Training program spans between being a dedicated Runoia camper and learning how to teach and counselor youth. As a CIT you help counselors in resident life and activity program to teach and support children to have a successful time learning. You also get to develop your own swimming skills through the American Red Cross lifeguard training program. Learn how to teach target sports through the Archery Instructor segment of the CIT program. Build your resume in community service through volunteer events. Organize and execute evening programs and special events building your skills in program and event expertise. The deep friendships you can develop with seven weeks at camp with counselors and campers and peers is endless. At the end of the program you will have quantifiable skills, resume builders, increased self esteem and command of select activities at camp. Continue with your summers at Runoia and have a great summer during your high school years.
